Euro IMDB?

The Greek director, 2008 Berlin International Film Festival jury president, and president of the Cinematheque Francaise, Costas Gavras, is planning to create a European counterpart to the online movie directory IMDB. If it happens it will sure be a key tool for European productions and the European Cinema as a whole. Gavras had a meeting with the Cinematheque’s board and they all approved the initiative. The committee will be all French in its beginning, but the plan is to expand to other European partner archives. Good luck!
