Dennis Iliadis directed “The Last House on the Left” remake which opened last week at #3 at the box office with $14.7 million but this was only his beginning in Hollywood. Variety reports that he has signed to direct another thriller titled”Cure” for Groundswell Productions.
“Cure” tells the story of a man whose wife is sent for an experimental treatment for a terminal illness. She is completely cured of the illness but returns with an infection that’s even more frightening. “Cure” was written by “Max Payne”-scribe Beau Thorne.
Shooting is expected to begin in the summer and casting details are not announced yet.
