mmm many things have made certain people's careers. It doesn't mean they aren't - or shouldn't be - ashamed of them. Not that I personally care about "shame" or other similar religious concepts.
And certainly the creation of a genre acknowledges, does not "legalise" anyhting. I did google nunsploitation actually... found nothing surprising there, but out of curiosity - or to prove another point, a more important one, to myself - I also googled... monksploitation (haha) and got nothing... Why wasn't I surprised, I wonder..................... x
Loved the article, by the way.

You know, there is an entire movie genre dedicated solely to naughty nuns. While the bulk of the movies are trashy, to say the least, many respectable actors have contributed to the genre including Deborah Kerr, Helen Hayes, Joan Collins, Silvana Mangano, Barbara Bouchet, Anne Heywood and countless others.

Appearing in a naughty nun movie isn't necessarily something to be ashamed of. For some of these women, it made their careers. Just Google nunsploitation to learn more.
