Riddle Me This Productions has begun production on “Madcap Mabel: Hollywood’s First Party Girl”. It is the story of Silent Screen Actress Mabel Normand who was known as the “Female” Chaplin before her career and life were cut short by scandals resulting from a fast life. Playing the lead is Greek Actress Penelope Lagos, who not only resembles Mabel Normand, but whose acting ability literally embodies the role. Ironically, Penelope previously played “Thalia” the Greek Muse of Comedy for the sitcom pilot “Muse” which was screened at HBO last year. Her comedic skills and timing are what gave Producers the idea to star her as Mabel, who in her day was also known as “Thalia” due to her various comedic performances and legendary comedy films. Miss Lagos will be the first to portray Mabel in a lead role and the film is already set to be screened at several venues early next year.
