“The Box” opened last week in New York where cast and crew attended the premiere of the movie at the Lincoln Center. The movie is about Norma and Arthur Lewis, a suburban couple with a young child. They  receive a simple wooden box as a gift, which bears fatal and irrevocable consequences. A mysterious stranger, delivers the message that the box promises to bestow upon its owner $1 million with the press of a button. But, pressing this button will simultaneously cause the death of another human being somewhere in the world; someone they don’t know. With just 24 hours to have the box in their possession, Norma and Arthur find themselves in the cross-hairs of a startling moral dilemma and must face the true nature of their humanity.

The executive producers of the movie, in which stars Cameron Diaz, are two young Greeks, Paris Kassidokostas-Latsis and Terry Dougas, through their company 1821 Pictures. In fact, the premiere also attended Paris’ mother who who made the long trip from Greece in order to be there. in addition at the premiere also was Paris girlfriend, the star of Twilight, Nikki Reed (photo, left). She arrived together with Paris mother’, Marianna Latsis. The two women were together all the time at the red carpet something that probably means that Marianna really likes her son’s girlfriend. This wasn’t the case when Paris Latsis was dating Paris Hilton.
