George P. Pelecanos is well-known for his major work on HBO’s popular show, The Wire. This Greek-American writer and producer is author of several novels including the Nick Stephanos series, in which the main character, Nick Stephanos is a Greek-American licensed private investigator. Pelecanos is currently waiting for the premier of his new TV mini-series, The Pacific. Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks, and Gary Goetzman teamed up with HBO Films, Playtone, Dreamworks, and Seven Network for the production of the project. Pelecanos is the writer and co-producer of this World War II dramatic mini-series, that will premiere in March of this year.
You can spot actors, Joseph Mazzello and Jon Seda playing the main characters. In addition, another fellow Greek-British actress, Zoe Carides will be included in the cast.
