The new cast of “The Celebrity Apprentice” has been officially announced. The real estate tycoon, Donald Trump, told ET’s Mary Hart that his new cast is so exciting and impressive that it will blow away “Dancing With the Stars.” In fact, Trump claimed that he had to turn down requests from DWTS pros who wanted to be a part of “The Celebrity Apprentice.” Apart from Greek-American Wrestler Maria Kanellis the cast includes Ex-Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich, Model Selita Ebanks, Wrestler Bill Goldberg, Olympian athlete Michael Johnson, Singer Cyndi Lauper, Comedienne Carol Leifer , Singer Bret Michaels, Reality TV star Sharon Osbourne, Actress Holly Robinson Peete, Comedian Sinbad, Chef Curtis Stone, Retired baseball player Darryl Strawberry, Olympian Summer Sanders.
Kanellis is a professional American wrestler and model of Greek heritage. She is currently signed by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) as a performer on their SmackDown brand. In addition, she posed for the April 2008 cover of Playboy magazine, and competed on the reality TV shows “Outback Jack” and “Raw Diva Search” in 2004.
“The Celebrity Apprentice” will premiere on March 14th on NBC.
