“Percy Jackson” Premiered in Athens

Hollywood star Pierce Brosnan waves to paparazzi outside an upscale restaurant and reception hall overlooking the Acropolis in central Athens on Friday, Jan. 29, 2010, where the international premiere of the movie “Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief” was screened. The story is about a young boy who discovers he’s the descendant of a Greek god, and sets out on an adventure to settle an on-going battle between the gods. The cast includes actors; Uma Thurman, Rosario Dawson, Catherine Keener, Sean Bean, Kevin McKidd, Logan Lerman, Steve Coogan, Melina Kanakaredes, Serinda Swan, Erica Cerra, Luke Camilleri.
The Chris Columbus film will be released worldwide in mid February.
