12 God’s Theme continues on TV series “Caprica”

Remember Battlestar Galactica, the series that was running for 5 years (2004-2009). It took place in the future and was centered around how man kind survived from the attack of the”Cylon”, with the interesting theme around a belief in the 12 Gods.

Well, now the creators are coming up with the new TV series “Caprica” on SyFy Channel, keeping the same 12 Greek Gods theme, but with a twist. It is a TV series you must watch.

Caprica tells the story of how Colonial humanity first created the robotic cylons, who would later plot to destroy human civilization in retaliation for their enslavement.

Quite interestingly, there are more Greek references in the series.   We’ve captured a Greek store front saying “Printing” on the second episode. In the third episode, one of the characters says “Yia mas” (Cheers) and makes us wonder is the Greek culture is going to be implemented into the story? Also, there are more characters (and will be even more) who speak Greek to each other.

We shall see…but until then enjoy the screenshot from the second episode (”Rebirth”).caprica2-300x181
