Writer George Pelecanos talks about “The Pacific”, “The Wire” and How Can Somebody Make It Without Connections

George Pelecanos is riding the wave of success and he is not slowing down! We had the pleasure of meeting him at a recent Greek event in Southern California. His presence was calming and familiar as we sat together and discussed his life and career. In an exclusive interview, Pelecanos tells us about his Spartan roots, his self- determination in becoming an accomplished author, how he got involved in the hit show The Wire, the recent release of The Pacific HBO series in which he wrote and co-produced alongside Tom Hanks and Steven Speilberg, and reveals his upcoming projects.
