Prominent Greek-Americans of the entertainment industry are having a fund raising event to benefit the Los Angeles Greek Film Festival at the private residence of former Miss Universe Corinna Tsopei Fields on Saturday, April 24, at 6:30 pm. Among the attendees will be president of 20th Century Fox Jim Gianopulos, actress and writer Nia Vardalos, and president of HBO Mini Series Kary Antholis.
The Greek Film festival will take place in Los Angeles from the 10th to 13th of June 2010. The festival’s goal is to promote Greek Cinema and cultural exchange while bridging the gap between Greek filmmakers and Hollywood.
