ABC Picked Up “No Ordinary Family” Starring Michael Chiklis

ABC has picked up the Michael Chiklis-starring series “No Ordinary Family,” for this fall, reported The Hollywood Reporter.

Most recently, the Greek-American actor was portraying detective Vic Mackey on “The Shield”.

Part of “No Ordinary Family” also includes actress Julie Benz most recently of “Dexter,”. The show centers around the Powell family, headed by husband and wife Jim and Stephanie (presumably Chiklis and Benz).

During a vacation they crash land in the Amazon River and emerge with some unusual powers. From then on they have to learn how to live an extraordinary life.

The ABC Studios project is written by Greg Berlanti and Jon Feldman.
