Many Greek actors have decided to leave behind their successful careers in their homeland.  They are now trying to achieve success in Hollywood. This is the case with Nassos Pappas who is a young Greek  possessing Greek God looks; as many put it who has recently moved to Hollywood.

At only 24 years old, Pappas has achieved in Greece what many experienced thespians would dream of for a lifetime; to be one of the most popular actors in his age group.

As director Nikos Zervos claims: “Nassos, although he left for America, is the most wanted young Greek actor right now in Greece. He’s got the looks but he also has incredible talent that shows right away through the lense. ”

Pappas is the son of a successful Greek businessman that shaped Greece’s nightlife.  He was born in Athens but always had a desire to travel, meet new cultures, and work in English speaking movies.  Pappas graduated from the most prestigious Greek acting school, The National School of Theater.  He has participated in ancient drama productions throughout the nation.

The National School of Theatre receives thousands of applicants each year and selects no more than ten to attend the program.  Nassos graduated in 2008. During college he also participated in many TV and movie productions.

About one year ago he got the lead in “Showbitch”.  The production has now become one of the most widely discussed new movie releases in Greece.  “Showbitch” is scheduled to hit theaters this winter.  He plays a young singer who suddenly becomes a star and has to deal with his new reality. In “Showbitch”, Pappas also reveals his singing talent. The movie’s soundtrack produced by Universal Records, is Nassos’s first CD single produced. After the completion of “Showbitch” he made the big decision to move to Los Angeles to continue his studies in movie production at UCLA and to try to make it big in the epicenter of acting.

Nassos also participated in the production of  “Glory Shall Be Thy Name”, a film by Oren Peleg.  Lately it is rumored that he will travel back to Greece for a few special appearances in the Warner Bros Theater production “Scooby Doo”.
