On Thursday February 27th the consul general of Greece in Los Angeles, Elisavet Fotiadou, held a gala at her residence in honor of the cast and crew of Oscar nominated “Dogtooth”. Key Greek-Americans of the entertainment industry were invited to the event and met with “Dogtooth’s” film-making team. Sponsors of the evening included Cat Cora’s Kitchen by Gaea, Fotis and Son Imports, Inc., Hillas Beer, Monemvasia Winery, Diamond Importers and Joyce Kokkinides.
After the gala, Los Angeles Greek Film Festival hosted the cast and crew of Dogtooth in a meet and greet event at Mirabelle restaurant on Sunset. Greek-Americans are very proud for the nomination of the Greek film and hope that “Dogtooth” will win the Golden statue.
The Oscars will take place at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood on Sunday February 27th. Greek Reporter has organized an Oscar party for all the Greeks in Los Angeles to watch the Academy Awards with members of the cast and crew of Dogtooth at Isla on Sunset. The event will start at 4.30 pm, on Sunday February 27th and will be hosted by Greek Reporter’s Christina Aloupi, Kosta Poulos and Sophia Matsas.
