What a refreshing change for John Stamos; the 47 year old actor has been promoting lately his upcoming appearance in the musical ‘Hairspray” at the Hollywood Bowl,where he stars as Corny Collins.
He appeared on Wednesday’s edition (20, July) of Jimmy Kimmel Live and the star, who plays Dr. Carl Howell on musical show Glee, explained that he constantly strives to improve his singing. John argued that “people think I’m a better singer than I am” and he actually discussed his Hairspray character in a little detail.
He jokingly compared the DJ (his character) to US TV personality Ryan Seacrest…” I play Corny Collins, he’s sort of a DJ and he hosts a music show. Sort of a straight Ryan Seacrest” he teased.
