On February 22, Greek-born actress Jennifer Aniston received a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Most known for her part as “Rachel” in the successful TV series “Friends”, Aniston is the first one of the cast to receive the distinction.
Moved by the big honor, Emmy winner Aniston was accompanied at the ceremony by her father and boyfriend, Justin Theroux. Her latest film “Wanderlust” will be released Friday, February 24.
Her co-actors from “Wanderlust”, Malin Akerman and Kathrin Hahn, as well as former co-actor Adam Sandler, held the opening speeches before her Star was unveiled.
Aniston spoke of her California origins and warmly thanked everyone who has supported her so far in her career.
