Extortion Ordeal Over for John Stamos

John Stamos can finally sleep easy. The two extortionists from Michigan who were convicted of trying to blackmail the famous actor have lost an appeal for a four year prison sentence and will, in fact, serve out the remainder of their term.

Despite the fact that Allison Coss and Scott Sippola accepted responsibility for their actions, the three-judge panel refused to reduce their jail time.

The duo were found guilty in July 2010 of trying to extort $680,000 from the Greek actor by threatening to make public some supposedly compromising pictures of him in the company of strippers and cocaine at a 2004 party.

After hearing the testimony from Stamos himself and examining the evidence, it was proven that Coss and Sippola never had any such photos. Following the highly publicized trial, they were given four years in prison.
