First Look Photo: Constantine Maroulis Takes on ‘Jekyll & Hide’ for Broadway

Constantine Maroulis is Broadway-bound once again, this time starring as the infamous double-personality in “Jekyll & Hide.” His co-star, R&B Singer Deborah Cox, will take on the role of the prostitute, Lucy. The musical is scheduled to hit the Great White Way in April 2013.

Entertainment Weekly just released a first look photo, which is a rather good description of what director Jeff Calhoun said of the revival in an interview with the magazine: “It’s going to be sexy dangerous.”

Maroulis, who found fame on the reality singing competition “American Idol,” was nominated for a Tony Award for his performance as Drew on the Broadway stage in “Rock of Ages,” which has now been adapted for the big screen and has its U.S. theatrical release today. The actor doesn’t take on the same character in the film, but he does make a brief cameo appearance.
