A pilot for “Triptank” featuring funny guy Zach Galifianakis has been picked up by television network Comedy Central for eight episodes. Galifianakis voiced the character of “Jack the Janitor.” The show got an eight-episode order and will air weekly on the channel.
Set to premiere in the fall of 2013, “Triptank” is a blend of animated comedy shorts created by, and featuring, some well-known celebrities. The pilot also included “Curb Your Enthusiasm”‘s Larry David and other comedians.
Recent newlywed Galifianakis just wrapped up promoting “The Campaign” alongside Will Ferrell, and is currently filming the third installment of “The Hangover” movies.
