Actress Stephanie Pitsiladis has signed on to join the cast of Craig Goodwill’s “Patch Town.”
The Canadian fantasy drama, about an abandoned toy whose dream is to be reunited with his long lost adoptive mother, is being turned into a feature film from the original short which screened at the Cannes Film Festival. Writer/director Goodwill will get behind the project, with much of the cast from the short film returning for the full-length feature.
Pitsiladis’ credits include mostly theater; her first professional gig was as Tracy in “Hairspray.” The actress, in her debut role on the big screen, will play Mary in “Patch Town.”
