The final trailer for the upcoming thriller/action/sci-fi “Riddick” starring Vin Diesel and Dave Bautista just hit the world wide web.
Releasing in theaters on September 6, the film is the third installment in the series that launched with “Pitch Black” in 2000 and was followed up with “The Chronicles of Riddick” in 2004.
The plot focuses on anti-hero Riddick, who has been left for dead on a desert planet where he finds himself fighting for his life against alien predators far more vicious than any human he has ever faced. Riddick is forced to use a beacon to alert the very bounty hunters he has been evading to come and collect him as this is the only way he can possibly escape. Diesel reprises the title role, Karl Urban returns in the role of Vaako, and Greek-Filipino wrestler-turned-actor Dave Bautista stars as Diaz.
Bautista and Diesel have some intense fight scenes in the film, and the audience gets just a taste of it in the latest trailer. Check it out below:
