Hollywood must be enchanted by Messenia, located in the southwestern Peloponnese, as according to rumors, the filming of the third film Sex & the City may be shot there, after the filming of the movie Before Midnight, in which Ethan Hawke appeared.
According to local media, Carrie Bradshaw, one of the leading roles in the film, played by the famous actress Sarah Jessica Parker, and her girlfriends, will reportedly arrive in Messenia either in September 2014 or in May 2015 and will stay at a famous luxury hotel complex.
If these rumors are confirmed and the sequel is filmed, then it is very possible that Messenia and not Mykonos will be the location, where the scenario will unfold.
For the moment, all this is under discussion and no particular decision has been made.
Messenia, as a summer holiday destination has been upgraded, as it is the favorite place for the couple David and Victoria Beckham, as well as for Queen Rania of Jordan.
