A new episode of “Where Are They Now?” on the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) that airs Sunday, Nov. 10, features a recent trip to Greece by Debbie Matenopoulos.
This past summer, the Greek-American television personality and actress was in Athens to perfect recipes for her new cookbook, It’s All Greek to Me: Transform Your Health the Mediterranean Way with My Family’s Century-Old Recipes, and OWN followed her around through the Athens Market as she showcased various Greek ingredients and foods. Besides taking the cameras on a stroll through Greece, Matenopoulos looks back on her job as a co-host on “The View” in the “Where Are They Now?” episode, and reveals why it was the most amazing job she’s ever had. Admitting to having said some “crazy things” during her gig on the popular daytime show, she also reflects on her negative experience with the press.
