Formerly “Hercules: The Legend Begins,” the upcoming battle epic about the Greek god now has a new film title and trailer. Summit Entertainment released another official trailer for the newly named “The Legend of Hercules,” directed by Renny Harlin and starring Kellan Lutz.
Drawing comparisons to the styles of “300” and “Gladiator,” the latest trailer for “The Legend of Hercules” gives more insight on Lutz’s portrayal of the Greek god. The plot centers on Hercules as he struggles to regain his freedom and return to his true love, the Princess of Crete, after being betrayed by his King and sold into slavery. The film also stars Liam McIntyre (“Spartacus“) and newcomer Gaia Weiss as the Princess.
