Rita Wilson has been tapped to host The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s All for the Hall benefit being held March 4 at Club Nokia in Los Angeles, Calif. The event, which took place in New York City last year, is returning to the West Coast for the first time in three years.
Country Music Hall of Fame members Vince Gill and Emmylou Harris, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame members Heart and Grammy Award-winner Jason Mraz are all set to perform. The format will once again be in a “guitar pull” style, which means artists will often accompany one another as they take turns swapping songs, stories and personal recollections. The guitar pull originated with Nashville songwriters, who gathered to try out new compositions for their peers.
The All for the Hall benefit raises funds to keep the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum going. The museum began its first fundraiser in 2005, and has held the event between New York City and Los Angeles over the last seven years.
