Greek-American actress Amy Sedaris is taking on an animated new role as the voice of Princess Carolyn in Netflix’s latest venture into original programming, “BoJack Horseman.”
The series, which features the voices of Will Arnett (“Arrested Development”), Sedaris, Alison Brie (“Mad Men”) and Aaron Paul (“Breaking Bad”), is an adult animated comedy that centers on the most beloved sitcom horse of the ’90s 20 years after his rise and fall from fame. BoJack Horseman was the star of the hit TV show “Horsin’ Around,” but is now washed up, living in Hollywood, and complaining about everything.

When the series was first green lit, Chief Content Office of Netflix Ted Sarandos said, “BoJack Horseman is a brutally funny and unique take on what can happen after pop stardom. Raphael has created an amazing set of characters voiced by some of the best comics and actors in the world. We’re delighted to be partnering with Michael Eisner in delivering BoJack exclusively to Netflix members around the world.”
The 12-episode series launches on Netflix August 22.
