A poster and website have just been unveiled for the upcoming comedy “My Man is a Loser,” starring John Stamos.
Stamos plays a single playboy in the film named Mike who is enlisted by his two married friends (played by Michael Rapaport and Bryan Callen) to help them become better husbands and save their relationships. Unfortunately, the plan backfires, leaving their wives unimpressed with their new personalities.
In an interview, producer Eric Bamberger said they were looking to cast someone in his 40s who was likable while also able to fit the “ultimate playboy” persona, and that “John Stamos popped up as the obvious choice.”
The “My Man is a Loser” website features the trailer (check it out below), as well as gifs and soundbites from the film.
The feature directorial debut from Mike Young, the film also stars Tika Sumpter and Sean Young. It’s scheduled to hit U.S. theaters July 25.
