Greek-Irish beauty Georgia Salpa is the latest in a string of celebrities to post a video taking part in the ALS ice bucket challenge.
The model and TV host, dressed in shorts and an athletic top, picked up a bucket full of ice and poured it over herself, with the caption, “Very refreshing after my gym session (NOT).” Salpa was nominated for the challenge by Irish footballer David Meyler.
Prior to her drenching, Salpa nominated Roz Purcell, Rosanna Davison, Vogue Williams and Louise Johnson to do the same.
The challenge is making its way across social media with the hashtag #IceBucketChallenge, and is raising awareness for ALS. Also known as Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, ALS is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord.
