Greek-American actor Jason Mantzoukas is set to star alongside Jason Sudeikis and Alison Brie in “Sleeping with Other People.”
The film, directed by Leslye Headland (“Bachelorette”), centers on a good-natured womanizer and a serial cheater who form a platonic relationship that helps reform them in ways, and a mutual attraction sets in.
Mantzoukas will play Xander in the upcoming comedy, which is currently filming and scheduled for release in 2016.
The comedian, having taken a natural turn towards acting, is most recognizable from his role as Rafi on the FX series, “The League,” as well as starring opposite Sacha Baron Cohen in “The Dictator.” He recently wrapped filming on “Search Party,” also featuring “Sleeping with Other People” co-star Alison Brie, and the animated short, “Giant Sloth.”
