We met Lainie Kazan at an Oscar party and we got all the scoop just before My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 hits theaters.
“We have been meeting with Nia and Gia at least once a month for 12 years” notes Kazan who has been friends with the cast since they first made the first movie.
“I am the only one who is not Greek, I am Jewish, but they make believe,” she tells us laughing.
Kazan, plays the Greek mother of Nia Vardalos (Toula) who is the real head of the house and offers advice to her kids often with questionable results.
The new movie opens March 25th in the USA.
