The 2016 Los Angeles Greek Film Festival (LAGFF) officially wrapped up this past Sunday with the annual closing night Orpheus Award ceremony taking place on June 5.
The 10th Annual LAGFF was a huge success, with over 50 films screened at the festival, including the recent Greek hit “Worlds Apart” by director Christopher Papakaliatis.
At the closing ceremony, Jim Gianopulos, the CEO & Chairman of 20th Century FOX, as well as Academy Award Winner J.K. Simmons were awarded honorary Orpheus Awards for their work in Hollywood and Greek cinema over the past year. In addition, plenty of quality Greek films and films by Greek directors from all over the world competed for the rest of this year’s Orpheus Awards; check out the list below to see who won!
