Breakout Greek-British actor Theo James, who has made a name for himself following several successful performances, most notably in the “Divergent” series, will now be starring alongside other Hollywood A-listers in “Zoe”, Drake Doremus’ new film.
Doremus is a skilled director who stepped into the limelight with “Like Crazy”, his unconventional romance starring Felicity Jones and Anton Yelchin, which took home the Grand Jury Prize from the Sundance Film Festival. Since then, he has been honing his skills with bigger and bigger film releases.
“Zoe” is a sci-fi romance, a futuristic story that revolves around a research lab which focuses on perfecting romantic relationships. Not much else is known about the plot yet, but filming starts in Montreal on May 8.
James has been impressing both film and theater audiences with recent appearances on the London stage in “Sex With Strangers”, and in the film “The Secret Scripture”. In “Zoe”, he will be performing among a stellar cast including leads Ewan McGregor and Lea Seydoux, as well as Rashida Jones, Miranda Otto, and Matthew Gray Gubler.
