Amy Sedaris has been announced as one of the main speakers at the 13th annual New York Television Festival (NYTVF), which takes place October 23-28 in Manhattan, New York.
Part of the reason Sedaris is appearing is to promote her new show on truTV, “At Home With Amy Sedaris”, as she will headline the event truTV Presents At Home With Amy Sedaris on October 23, a day before her show premieres on the channel.
The festival is a meeting point for new talent, Hollywood decision makers working behind the scenes, and fans of television shows looking to understand more about how their favorite program is made.
NYTVF founder Terence Gray says “when we launched the first TV festival a dozen years ago as a showcase for independent creators and their work, we never could have imagined that it would develop into what it is today”.
