Jennifer Aniston recently agreed to be one of the celebrity presenters at the 2018 Golden Globes, which will take place on January 7 at 5 PM.
Gossip magazines have been reporting the decision all day since it is one of the few times Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston will be at a formal public event like this together after the tabloids incessantly covered their relationships and break-ups with Brad Pitt.
However, perhaps it is fitting that the two women should find themselves together at this year’s Golden Globes, as the ceremony this year seems to have a theme of women banding together. This year’s Golden Globes host, Seth Meyers, has already stated his intention to hone in on the sexual harassment scandal that has gripped Hollywood, and many A-list women are coming together to voice their support for the #MeToo movement and denounce the power imbalance and harassment that has been rampant in Hollywood.
Other presenters include Helen Mirren, Emma Stone, Halle Berry, Roseanne Barr, Jessica Chastain, “Game of Thrones”‘ Emilia Clarke, and fellow Greek-American Kelly Clarkson.
Tune in to watch the live transmission of the 75th annual Golden Globes on NBC at 5 PM (PST)/8 PM (EST) and see Aniston and Clarkson present.
