We got a look at Dave Bautista in the upcoming martial arts franchise spinoff “Master Z: Ip Man Legacy”.
The wrestler-turned-actor looks to be in fighting shape in the images released from set. “Master Z” is being directed by Yuen Woo-ping, a directing vet of many martial arts films. Mandarin Motion Pictures is producing and distributing the film.
Chinese stars Max Zhang and Michelle Yeoh also star in the film.
Bautista is one of several stars flocking to China to take part in the booming motion picture industry there. Chinese production companies and Hollywood have also been working together on many US productions, with financing on US blockbusters often coming from Chinese producers.
If you want to see Bautista on screen soon, you can see him in his classic Marvel character of Drax the Destroyer in “Avengers: Infinity War”. The film hits theaters in April.
