Billy Zane has signed on to join a new series on street racing called “Curfew” for Sky One.
Miranda Richardson, Harriett Walter, and Sean Bean have also signed on to co-star in the eight-part series.
The story centers on a crew of eccentric characters competing in an illegal nighttime street race. It was written and executive produced by Matthew Read, who has previously worked on “Hammer of the Gods” and “Pusher”.
Zane seems quite excited to start his new role. He announced, “joining the immensely talented cast and crew of Curfew as Joker Jones fulfills many cinematic and literary fantasies all at once.”
Sky One has recently experienced massive success with its original productions, as the series “Britannia” and “Save Me” were downloaded tens of millions of times. “Curfew” will premiere on Sky One and NOW TV sometime in 2019.
