Clarkson, backed by a children’s choir, belted a capable and lyrically-correct version of the song. Prior to Clarkson’s Super Bowl performance, country music power couple Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert paired up for a duet of “America the Beautiful.

She is the third and youngest child of Jeanne Rose, a first grade English teacher of Greek descent and Stephen Michael Clarkson, a former engineer of English descent.

John Stamos was the face of the first ever yogurt commercial to air during the big game. Dannon decided to collaborate with the Greek-American actor, in order to promote their Oikos Greek Yogurt brand. The funny commercial aired during the 3rd quarter of Super Bowl XLVI. Watch it below:

After Maria Menounos who has promoted Yoplait! now is John Stamos’ turn to use his Greek heritage and promote Dannon Greek Yogurt. The Greek-American actor, musician and producer twitted earlier that he was shooting a commercial for Dannon.

I’m actually good friends with their producer Matt Beckley, and he had played me some of the record while they we’re making it, which I loved. Ironically it turns out I was a big fan of one of their older songs “Cue the Strings”… I’m a sucker for a well written song with great harmonies, and when it came time for them to cast the video, they asked if I’d like to be involved, I liked the concept I was happy to be a part of it. The new record is on all the time at my place. One of my favorite indie bands.

Also John Stamos  has been touring with “The beach boys”. Their latest stops were Miami and Toronto.

Stamos, who first became famous on the sitcom Full House in 1987, has been a part-time percussionist and singer with The Beach Boys since around that time, even taking lead vocals on the song “Forever”, which was originally sung by drummer Dennis Wilson, who died in 1983.

Last month the Greek-American actor was approached by CBS producers to replace troubled Charlie Sheen, and “introduce a new character” on the hit sitcom Two and a Half Men.

Mark Ballas, Jennifer Aniston and John Stamos are in People's beautiful list

Jennifer Lopez tops the People’s most beautiful list for 2011. Among the other beautiful stars are three Greek-Americans, Mark Ballas, Jennifer Aniston and John Stamos.

Mark Ballas is included in the 25 Beauties (and Hotties) at 25. This category lists the hottest crop of stars turning 25 this year.
The Greek-American Dancing with the Stars pro knows how to win mirror-ball trophies (he has two!) – and even more important, bring out the best in his partners. Just ask Bristol Palin, who danced with ‘Ballas” and credits him for helping her get through tough times on the show last season. “Mark knows how to talk me up,” she says, “and make me feel good about myself.”

Jennifer Aniston at 42 still looks stunning. Aniston gained worldwide recognition in the 1990s for portraying Rachel Green in the television sitcom Friends, a role which earned her an Emmy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and a Screen Actors Guild Award. She has also enjoyed a successful film career, having appeared in several Hollywood productions. Aniston’s godfather was actor Telly Savalas, her father’s best friend. As a child, Aniston lived in Greece for one year with her family.

John Stamos is one of the most beautiful Greek-American males and he couldn’t be left out of People’s list. This year the actor and producer, besides being praised for his beauty, is also acknowledged for his charity work. People included him in the Shining Stars category of the “Beautiful” issue. He is described as a hot celeb that does a lot of charity work via projectcuddle.org, an organization that saves babies from abandonment and worse. This category also includes George Clooney, Sandra Bullock and Matt Damon.

Uncle Jesse Katsopolis really loved the King. TIME Mag states that “he often paid tribute to the King by moonlighting as an Elvis impersonator and performing his songs on the show.” Stamos through his twitter account commented about the article “on the kings b.d. TIME mag named me one of the top 10 elvis impersonators – i’m canceling my subscription!”

According to the below FBI affidavit, the photos were taken at a party in Florida, where Stamos was vacationing. The extortion victim is only identified in the U.S. District Court document as “Mr. X, an actor.” Agents last week arrested Allison Coss, 23, and Scott Sippola, 30, in connection with the extortion plot. According to the affidavit sworn by FBI Agent Leslie Hahn, “Mr. X” attended a party with Coss and her friend in 2004, and “photographs of him were taken” during the bash. Since the party, the actor has maintained e-mail contact with Coss via her Hotmail account. Last month, Stamos–who starred in TV’s “Full House” and “ER” and currently appears in “Bye Bye Birdie” on Broadway–received several e-mails from a man identifying himself as “Brian L,” and who claimed to have “discovered the pictures taken during the 2004 party in Florida, and that such pictures would cause harm to Mr. X’s reputation if released to the media.” The man demanded a $680,000 payoff.

After Stamos’s lawyer contacted the FBI on November 28, agents began surveilling Coss and another suspect, who was later identified as Sippola. The alleged extortionists were arrested last Wednesday shortly after an undercover agent, “posing as a representative of Mr. X,” arranged with “Brian L” a money drop at a Princeton, Michigan airport. Coss and Sippola, pictured above, were released on bond last Wednesday and ordered to have no contact with “the alleged victim.”

The actor is best known for his role as “Uncle Jesse” on Full House. Stamos celebrates over 25 years in the entertainment business as an actor, musician and Broadway star. He is currently starring on Broadway as “Albert Peterson”, the role made famous by Dick Van Dyke, in Bye Bye Birdie. Stamos’ star is located right next to Dick Van Dyke’s star at 7021 Hollywood Boulevard.

Speakers at the star unveiling ceremony were Garry Marshall, producer of TV sitcoms like Happy Days and Laverne and Shirley; Bob Saget, Stamos’ co-star on Full House; and Jack Klugman, star of TV’s The Odd Couple.

John’s mother and sisters also attended the event as he dedicated the star to his father who died in 2001. Right after the event he wrote on his twitter page “my father said to me: a man has few great moments in his life-you have given me many- today is for you dad-and it even has your name on it!”.

John Stamos, will appear on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” tomorrow between 12:05AM-1:05AM on channel 7 and “The View” on Thursday, November 19th between 11:00AM – 12:00PM on channel 7.

Stamos will join Kevin Spacey, Virginia Madsen and Heather Graham in this project that has already begun filming in New Orleans. Stamos will play the man who has taken over Spacey’s business and eventually steals his big comeback idea.

Stamos begins performances in “Birdie” on September 10. He has also appeared on Broadway in the past in the revivals of Cabaret and Nine.
