Greek-American Sinks Another Hole in One

Last week, for the second time in four years, Nicole Castrale topped the leaderboard after the first round of the LPGA Championship.

Nicole Castrale, born Nicole Dalkas on June 24, 1979, in Glendale, California, is an American professional golfer who plays on the United States-based LPGA Tour. She made the clinching putt for the U.S. to defeat Europe in the 2007 Solheim Cup matches in Halmstad, Sweden.

Nicole started playing golf at the age of 10, and credits her husband Craig, her parents Anthony and Patricia Dalkas, golf instructors Bill Harmon and Dick Harmon, and Fischer Sports Physical Therapy and Conditioning with most influencing her career. She married Craig Castrale on Jan. 8, 2005. Her hobbies include working out, shopping, cooking, and watching all sports. She qualified for the LPGA Tour on her first attempt.
