“No Ordinary Family” is the new much anticipated ABC series which stars Michael Chiklis. The 46 year old actor was born in Lowell, Massachusetts. He is the son of Charlie Chiklis, a second generation Greek American who runs a hair and beauty salon. Chiklis is also a voice actor, an occasional director and television producer. He won an Emmy for his role as Detective Vic Mackey in the Los Angeles police show The Shield. Chiklis’ role on “No Ordinary Family” is the father of a superpowered family. The show premieres on September 28th at 8:00 ET/PT.
No Ordinary Family is written by Greg Berlanti. Berlanti’s credits include TV shows Brothers & Sisters and Eli Stone, as well as co-writing the upcoming Green Lantern movie, in collaboration with Jon Feldman.
