Kelly Clarkson, the first “American Idol,” has stepped out recently looking much slimmer in press appearances for her new show, “Duets,” which premieres tonight in the US. The Greek-American singer previously attributed her curves to her heritage, saying “I’ve got a butt, I’m Greek. I can’t help that.”
After her recent performance at the 2012 Billboard Awards, blogs and magazines were buzzing about her thinner frame, just as she prepares for a whirlwind summer tour while also starring in a reality show. In addition to tonight’s premiere of “Duets,” a competition in which she mentors and sings along with an amateur hopeful vying for a recording contract, Clarkson has also released the video for her new single “Dark Side,” off the album “Stronger.”
