Jennifer Aniston, Betty White, Jon Hamm are some of the names who shared a common goal this September, to bring attention to National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and honor St.Jude Children’s Research hospital for 50 years of finding cures and saving children’s lives.
The Greek-American actresses, together with other stars, performed a cover of the iconic 1968 Beatles single “Hey Jude” and were joined by many St. Jude patients, researchers, doctors and nurses.
Pop star sensation Jordan Sparks confirmed in a statement that, ” I’m so proud to support the hospital’s mission and … singing an iconic song like ‘Hey Jude’ … was an incredible experience.”
Some of the other celebrities who appear in the music video include Rachel Leigh Cook, Keith Urban, Michael Jordan, Robin Williams, Ellen de Generes, to name just a few. Proceeds generated by the Tony Thomas-directed video will help St. Jude’s mission.
