John Stamos is having a “Full House” reunion on television, but not with the family who knew him as “Uncle Jesse.”
As Jesse Katsopolis, the Greek-American actor played in a band — Jesse and the Rippers — on the popular 1980s-1990s television show, and this Friday, July 19, the rock n’ roll group is getting back together for a special guest performance on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.”
With their leather clad, jeans-wearing days behind them, it’ll be interesting to see how much of a throwback Jesse and the Rippers will give to their fans. A few weeks ago, a Jesse Katsopolis Twitter account was created that posts tour dates and pictures of Stamos as the long-haired rocker, cut-off tees and all.
We’ll have to tune in to “Fallon” to find out what songs (and wardrobe choices) Jesse and the Rippers will pull out from the past. “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” airs on NBC 12:35am/11:35pm Central time.
