Hannah Simone, one of the stars of the hit FOX comedy “New Girl,” has become a Celebrity Ambassador for The Pink Daisy Project.
The actress, who is of Greek-Cypriot descent on her mother’s side, has teamed up with the organization and Prizeo to provide signed photos, thank you cards, and various other incentives, in exchange for tiered donations to help breast cancer patients. In addition, one winner will have the chance to visit Simone on the set of “New Girl.”
The Pink Daisy Project is a not-for-profit that supports young women and mothers with breast cancer by helping to provide their daily essentials – from groceries to gas, and medications to meals – in order to help them ease the healing process.
Donations begin at $10, and every person who donates will be entered for the “New Girl” contest. The winner gets to bring a guest to Los Angeles, Calif., where they will be given a tour of the show’s set and have lunch with Hannah Simone. The prize includes two nights (accommodation only) and economy class flights from anywhere in the world for two people. The contest runs through December 16, 11:59pm PST.
