A collection of more than 250 images personally curated by the Greek-American designer, the book shares contents of Varvatos’ personal style notebook, revealing his perspective on how musicians’ evolving styles have impacted fashion and pop culture over time. The photos include never-before-seen photographs of artists – from Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin and the Rolling Stones to Green Day, Jack White and Kings of Leon. There are also select images from Varvatos’ own advertising campaigns, featuring musicians such as Slash, Iggy Pop, Scott Weiland, and Miles Kane.
Earlier this month, Varvatos took part in a book signing at Neiman Marcus Beverly Hills. He was joined by legendary musicians Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley of KISS, and famous rock’n’roll photographer Mick Rock, where they discussed music and fashion in front of a group of attendees.
