Next stop for Greek-Australian rock guitarist Orianthi: Europe, with rock icon Richie Sambora.
The 29 year-old singer/songwriter and guitar goddess just returned from playing a few dates in Australia with Sambora, a music industry staple who in addition to a successful solo career, is notably famous for being part of Grammy Award-winning band Bon Jovi. Both of the musicians will head to Europe next to perform together, with Sambora recently announcing the dates and locations.
In an interview with Billboard, the talented duo also spoke of a collaboration album they’re working on.
“Ori is unbelievable,” Sambora told the music publication. “There’s a bunch of stuff that people don’t know she can do that I know she can do. We write great songs and we’re able to take it on an improvisational level. That’s very important also.”
The album’s release date, however, has not been set yet.
“When it kind of feels ready, we’ll put it out,” Orianthi said.

The tour kicks off June 13 in London. They’ll also play other dates in the UK, as well as France, Germany, Ireland and Holland before wrapping up July 3 in Glasgow.
