Television personality Kelly Ripa, who co-hosts “LIVE! with Kelly and Michael,” recently returned from a European vacation in which she spent 10 days in Greece with her family, and she was more than happy to tell viewers that they should plan a trip there as well.
“I highly encourage you to visit Greece because the people are the kindest and the loveliest, and it’s so beautiful,” she said during the show’s opening.
Ripa was back to hosting duties this morning alongside Michael Strahan after visiting Paris and Greece with her husband, Mark Consuelos, and their three children, Michael, Lola and Joaquin.
She said, “We started out in Paris for a couple of days — just a quick, quick trip to Paris — and then we spent the bulk of our trip, 10 days, in Greece, going from island to island.”
She also shared photos, which included a visit to Poseidon’s Temple in Athens, Sarakiniko Beach in Milos, and Santorini.
Actor and comedian Jerry Seinfeld and his wife, Jessica, joined Ripa and Consuelos in Greece. Jessica posted photos to her Instagram account, captioning one of them, “Thank you, Greece. We had the BEST TIME and cannot wait to come back. We miss you already. You Greeks are the sweetest, most unpretentious crew. Thank you for showing us such a great time.”
Earlier this month, Ripa had offered to take Jennifer Lopez to Mykonos after the “American Idol” judge was a guest on the show and mentioned she’d never been to the Greek island, but would like to visit.
