Zoe Kazan has joined the cast of the upcoming political comedy-drama, “Our Brand Is Crisis.”
Based on the 2005 documentary of the same name, the feature film will focus on the use of American political campaign strategies in South America. The story centers on two of President Clinton’s former political advisors, James Carville and Stan Greenberg, and their involvement with the re-election of a Bolivian president.
“Our Brand Is Crisis” is being directed by David Gordon Green (“Pineapple Express”), and stars Sandra Bullock and Billy Bob Thornton.
No word yet on what role Kazan will play in the film. The actress, who is a descendant of Greek filmmaker Elia Kazan, recently starred in the feature “In Your Eyes,” and the television mini-series “Olive Kitteridge.”
