Greek-Australian guitarist Orianthi has made a huge splash in the rock scene over the last few years. Her image continues to rise, as was evident this last weekend in Adelaide, Australia, when she took to the stage to perform a rock concert and had her boyfriend, notorious Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora, play as a special guest.
Having the famous and experienced 59-year-old Sambora play as a guest in the 29-year-old Orianthi’s show demonstrates the enormous level of success Orianthi has reached. Despite their vast age difference, the musical pair has managed to hold a strong relationship together over the past year.
The duo jammed together on stage and even found the time for a spontaneous kiss between songs.
Orianthi recently announced that she will be collaborating on a new studio album with Sambora, a release many music aficionados are highly anticipating. When asked about Orianthi’s talent, Sambora said “Orianthi and I have a musical conversation when we play, and she just happens to be one of the best players on the planet.”
The pair has been spotted out and about multiple times in Los Angeles, most recently at the red carpet of the famous Hollywood Christmas Parade.
