In addition to the Greek-Americans nominated for last weekend’s Golden Globes (Jennifer Aniston for “Cake”; Alexandre Desplat for “The Imitation Game”), Greek-American actor Theo James managed to snag a People’s Choice Award for Favorite Movie Duo along with Shailene Woodley.
The on-screen couple won an award for their fantastic chemistry in “Divergent.” The blockbuster film went on to win another award during the evening, for Favorite Action Movie of the year.
Part of the reason James and Woodley make such a great on-screen couple may be related to rumors that the two are dating in real life. The two have not confirmed the gossip as of yet.
After his success in “Divergent,” James is looking at a bright future ahead of him in Hollywood. The 30-year-old actor currently has seven movies coming up; three are already in post-production, and at the moment he is filming “The Secret Scripture” with Rooney Mara and Eric Bana. As for his role in “Divergent,” he will be reprising it in both of the film’s upcoming sequels, “Allegiant: Part 1” and “Allegiant: Part 2.”
