Filio Biniarou

Filio Biniarou, a Greek actress who has been making her way in Los Angeles for the past few years, was recently cast in the film “Armenia, My Country, My Mother, My Love”.

Biniarou will be playing the role of Sophia, a Red Cross volunteer in a shelter who helps a young Armenian boy escape after his mother has been killed.

The film centers around the lives of an Armenian family (the Orbelians) living in Turkey in 1915, whose dreams end up being immortalized in paintings by the most famous Armenian-American painter.

The film is being directed by actress and writer Diana Angelson, who also stars in the film and has been very active in the independent film world thus far.

Filio Biniarou was a regular on several Greek TV series including “Erotas” and “Mi Mou Les Adio” before moving to Los Angeles to continue working on her acting career in Hollywood. In addition to her casting in “Armenia, My Country, My Mother, My Love” Filio recently played a supporting role in the TV series “In Between”.
